A White seeded climbing french bean variety. Blue Lake is quick to mature. Its stringless dark green pencil pods are approximately 15cm x 11mm. Tolerant of Bean Common Mosaic Virus.

Under glass sow from February onwards (germinates between 16 and 25°C)
Sow in modules for transplanting outside in May
Alternatively sow direct outside in May.
Use a plant spacing of 25 x 75cm
Support netting or staking required
Approximately 2000 seeds per kilo
Seed requirement around 75-100 kilos per hectare
